The water show

Feels like a frog while jumping through flooded streets to reach your morning destination, office. God poured water and we showed our technology of swimming on the roads, we don't need drainage system! We are just too good on survival strategies.

Till I did not peep out of my window, the morning was charming. It was raining outside. I thought the day must be very cool but I had no idea that it was going to be cooler that expected or desired! It looked like we stay in an apartment built on pond and surrounded with water! Waoo cool show!! I have no chhatri(umbrella), rather I can't keep one. Last time, a week ago I lost my season's umbrella; I left it in the C3 mart. However, I love feeling rain drops on my body, sometimes by choice and sometimes compelled.

It was not stopping from the sky and the virtual pond was collecting more and more water. Like a office crazy good gentleman, I got ready to leave by 10:30 AM, not too early though. Finally I had no choice but to dip my feet in the pond and walk with fear of getting into a manhole. Somehow trembling I reached main road. Aaah there is the sea! What a good show of mini sea with hefty waves that got created every time a vehicle passed by. Autowallahs were scared; they shouted "Ki korbo dada, handle tao jole doobe jachhe, Sector V e bahut kharab abosta. Aajke aar office jete hobe naa, bari te giye ghumiye porun!" (What can we do sir, even the handle is getting under water? Poor conditions there in Sector V. Please do not go to office, go back your home and sleep). The idea was charming. Though I liked that, but I had no choice. In the mean time, in the leu of searching for some vechile, I got added with more spice of the day. My chappal refused to carry me any further in the sea!

But finally, not after waiting for a long, I got a bus to carry me to the office. Peace of mind, peace of feet, peace everywhere except the noisy bus floating on water. But the bus was more interesting than expected in this rainy day. When we were wearing chappals and lightest clothes, girls had to show their talent on looks. I think even before Yamraj comes to pick them up they will not hesitate to put a tight jeans and a dark lipstick. Anyways, all for us the audience, good show ;).

Reached office and did a Mochi's job and repaired my chappal myself. I felt great; I am at least worth of something and can be a Mochi if I try to be... lol

We love water; we won't do anything to stop it. We just love it :)
