A Story In The Making
I will not start this story with once upon a time, because this is still in the making, and this is only a curtain raiser. So ladkiyon aur bhaiyon hold your breaths hard because here I present the story that will make all hearts beat harder, as it is for me already!
With no further bakwaas, let me come to the point, or rather not to the point but to the Railway Station. Wow! I had never thought in my wildest dream that an Indian Railway’s train can be soooo romantic!
It was crowed all over, people were rushing madly like someone had made a guided missile follow their asses, but Sandip was standing calmly at platform number four of Bangalore Railway station. He has a good habit of reaching much before time everywhere, so he had reached the station two hours before the scheduled departure of his train. He was quite sure that till a mad black dog doesn't bite his ass, his luck never gonna work. Before this particular trip to his homeland Kolkata in a train, he was already tired of applying all algorithms to get a good looking seat (hehehe, u know what I mean by a seat that looks good ;)), but his dog's luck never favored. So he had kinda assumed that again it's going to be 36 hours fucked up journey in the train, though he was actively sniffing around all that smelled well. Sandip noticed few good looking gurls passing by him, a thought came in his mind, but he was quite sure that it was indeed going to be a fucked up journey for 36 hours.
Sandip boarded the train and searched for his compartment (AC 3 Tier) and located his seat number only to find two good looking girls sitting around. Surprised! It never happens to me either! Did any black dog had peeeeed on him in the station? Anyways I am not digging into all those luck favoring complications, he sat. A very short conversation with those girls made him loose his favorite seat to them. Now I can bet that this happens to everyone! This is called advantage of fairer sex.
The train started moving and so did the time. Good guys are shyer than girls, so it took nearly 24 hours for Sandip to break the ice and start talking to one of them. A night passed and a day went through, Sandip was searching for a good moment and a favorable condition to start talking. Now tell me how many times has this happened to you, where you don't get 36 hours and all you get goes in just trying to talk? Anyways, it was by book a romantic moment, the sun was setting in the west and the sky was getting red. He looked through the window and uttered in a very soft voice to the girl "what a wonderful beauty of the nature, if you wanna have a better look at this sun set moment then come with me to the doors." Though he was not sure that she will, but the girl followed. The train was running with full Indian throttle speed of 40kmph and they were staring outside the door and analyzing the sun as never before. The sun perhaps took notice and quickly jumped inside his blanket feeling shy ;). Sandip did not stop, neither did she? They didn't ask each others names but kept talking about all useless stuffs in the world. They talked about cows grazing grass, the earth revolving round the Sun, the train moving with wheels and what do they do in their life and blah blah blah for 4 hours standing near the doors. The night came calling and they had their dinner, before sleeping Sandip came to know that the girl is Smitha, graduate and pursuing her MBA in Kolkata. It was good night baby time, but who care to sleep at such an interesting turn of the story? I bet you don't ;).Sandip was just going to be covered with deep slumber of night; somebody took his hands and shook it. She was Smitha, scared of perhaps an angel who had come as a ghost in her dream. "I am feeling scared, I had a bad dream, I want to talk right now", Smitha told. Sandip and Smitha sat side by side inside the same blanket with hands in hands staring at each other for hours till the good old Sun called again from the east. Dude the romance is just starting!! Stay tuned ;).
